Overview of legal and regulatory issues that healthcare professionals encounter in the United States healthcare system.

This course explores the legal and regulatory issues that healthcare professionals encounter in the United States healthcare system. Students will gain the ability to analyze legal and regulatory issues in healthcare by engaging in interactive discussions and informative research. This course explores how healthcare regulation may help or hinder three major health policy goals: increasing access, reducing cost, and improving quality.
